Cargo ships MV JIN SHUANG LONG 3 and JIN HONG 89 collided at around UTC +8 on the 27th of July 2020.
The collision occured at about 6 Nautical miles north of Dachen island, Taizhoum Zhejiang province, East China sea.
MV JIN SHUANG LONG 1 (MMSI: 413554090) is a Cargo ship and is sailing under the flag of China.Her length overall (LOA) is 90 meters and her width is 14 meters as compared to mv JIN HONG JI 89 (MMSI: 413858298) which is also a Cargo ship. She also sails under the flag of China.Her length overall (LOA) is 57 meters and her width is 11 meters.
MV JIN HONG 89 sank after collision, reportedly capsized.
A search and rescue ship (SAR) MV DONG HAI JUI 115 was deployed to rescue all eleven (11) crew onboard.
Cargo ship MV JIN SHUANG LONG 3 still floats but sustained serious damages to the hull.
