MY FIRST DAY AT SEA- Ikenna Ebin

Roll, roll your boat gently astern they said,
The pilot boat sets out of the jetty to meet the mother ship at anchorage.
Oh what a sweet and smooth movement as the pilot boat goes ahead.

Just moment when i thought of my family,
the waves pushed the boat from left to right, up and down.

Oh my God! What’s happening? Are we going to sink? I shouted
only to be calmed down an old sailor who said welcome to the sea.

Vitamin SEA

Trying to put my mind together, my stomach started thundering as if Poseidon released his thunderbolts in it.
Oh my God! Are my going to die?
Only to be calmed down an old sailor who said welcome to the sea.

Just as like volcano, just like the move of a tornado,
i began to vomit,
Oh my God! I am about to vomit my intestines.
Only to be calmed down by an old sailor who said welcome to the sea.

Laying down helplessly on the deck of the boat, i cried will no strength in me, wishing to go back home.
Oh my God! Is this what i will pass through at sea?
Only to be calmed down an old sailor who said welcome to the sea.

Am still laying helpless on the deck, as the sea breeze blowing gently and sweet
With a strength less voice,
Oh my God! Thanks for answers to my prayer
then came laughter from the old sailor as he said welcome to the sea.

Finally, arriving alongside the mother ship
been picked up by a basket from the pilot boat.
Landing on the main deck with a warm smile from the crew saying welcome on-board.
